Quitters at Cannonball

Saturday, October 18th, 2008

As you may be aware, 2 of the founding members of the Quitters SC did Cannonball this year:  Jess & Oz.

Both Jess and Oz have blogs available, http://modernjess.com or http://oz-gt.livejournal.com respectively, discussing the road to Cannonball and everything that happened on it.  Per the standings, in the 250cc class, Jess took #1 while Oz took #5.

Additionally, you can always chat about it here

SFSG’s “So Far So Good II”, 9/5-7

Saturday, August 23rd, 2008

All, just a reminder!

Our good friends, the San Francisco Scooter Girls, will be having a rally this September 5th-7th.  The Quitters have been long time fans of SFSG and their message / interests, and we’d love it if you all came out and supported them once again for their second rally ever.

This is also supposed to be somewhat of a Cannonball send-off:  for those who may be aware, 2 of the Quitters Scooter Club will be participating in the Cannonball Run (Jess & Oz).  This will probably be the last time scooters ever seem fun.

Click here to check out their schedule!

If you’d like to discuss the rally on our Forum, check it out here!

Tomales Bay Oyster Run

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

WHERE: Meetup is at Cafe Trieste 609 Vallejo StSan Francisco

WHEN: Sunday, July 13th @ 10:30 / ride at 11:30 sharp!

Join The Quitters SC for a long fanciful ride from San Francisco to Tomales Bay, Marin County’s hidden jewel of marshy wildernessy goodness. We’ll be headed to the Tomales Bay Oyster Company for some oysters and some BBQ and some general foolishness.

If you could, give us a vague idea whether you’ll be coming or not by sending a PM to Oz. This will allow us to make sure we have enough food on hand to feed everyone.
